Darren’s Fresh Fish Ltd was established over 30+ years ago by local Fleetwood lad Darren Wakefield, His Grandfather and Father were Icelandic skippers of many Fleetwood Trawlers, so it was inevitable that Darren would choose this path of life as his chosen career.
Joining Darren into the business in 2003 was his wife Sam, Sam has brought a woman's touch to the business providing fresh ideas and sea food recipes which are changed on a regular basis. Sam is the daughter of Ex Icelandic Skipper John Whalley and has gained her knowledge from her fathers vast experience at sea for over 50 years.
The married couple certainly do provide a fantastic, reliable service to the people of Lancashire and never stop striving and looking for ways to make the business go forward.
